The cell will redress the grievances at the individual and class level and grievances of common interest.

Students will be encouraged to use the suggestion box placed on the campus of RIPSR to express constructive suggestions and grievances. The suggestion boxes will be provided in every building and grievance records will be placed at vantage points in RIPSR (including the Library and Hostels) for the students/staff to air grievances. Complaints dropped in the suggestion boxes by students and oral complaints will be also redressed.

All complaints will be scrutinized by the management and the grievance redressal cell. The Chief Managing Director /Principal/Vice-principal will regularly attend to these on a daily basis. The college assures students that once a complaint has been made, it will be treated with confidentiality.

Besides, there will be an exclusive mechanism to address the issues relating to women and their grievances.

The complaint management mechanism will be carried out in three levels in RIPSR:

  1. The departmental grievances will be attended by the concerned class Coordinators, Mentors and Department Heads.
  2. The student coordinators and staff coordinators of the grievance redressal cell act as facilitators to communicate and sort out the grievances at the department level.
  3. Unresolved grievances at the departmental level are referred to the Central Grievance Redressal Committee of the institution.
